Host Institution: Le Centre d'Avignon - Semester/Academic Year and Summer program
Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Students who have already graduated are eligible for this program.
MUST SUBMIT OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. Must have completed at least one semester of college.
Must have an advanced level of French. Must have completed 4 semesters of college French
(or equivalent) and have at least a 3.0 GPA in that field. Your letter of recommendation
must be from a French professor. All applicants must submit 1 letter of recommendation from a French professor.
Requires 8 passport photos.
Credits: Students can earn 15-18 semester credits per semester and 6 credits per summer session.
Language: All classes are taught in French.
Open to students with an advanced level of French only.
Academic
Focus: Advanced Grammar/French Language, Archeology, Art History, Business, Philosophy, Economics, French History, French Political Science and Literature
Curriculum: Semester students take 5, 3-credit courses of their choosing. Internships are available for a limited number of semester program participants. Summer students take 2, 3-credit classes.
Housing: All students live with French host families. Daily breakfast and 6 dinners per week are included with the home-stay.
What's Included: Academic credits, tuition, official transcript, cell phone, room and board, airport pick-up, medical insurance, ISIC card, excursions, pre-departure orientation, on-site orientation, and much more.
Sample Excursions: Marseille and the Islands, Les Baux de Provence, Arles, Camargue (horseback riding)
